I have a similar issue with my right eye. My optic nerve damage came from a relapse of MS in 2004. There is a dark spot just off center. Imagine looking down your shotgun at the beads. I can't see the beads, only everything else. The peripheral vision is still great. I made the switch to lefty after the flare up. My Perazzi stock is neutral, however, I had never been kicked on the left shoulder and after 75 practice targets, I was bruised for two weeks! I had to have a RAD installed for the recoil. Nearly 20 years later, I have accumulated more 100 straights lefty than righty. I even stumbled into my first ever 200 straight at the Grand this year! It's doable, making the switch. Boy was it an awkward process! Hang in there and chute 'em!
