SELLING Extremely Rare George Mitchel Scope

The best external adjustment scope made. Turrets are Mitutoya micrometer with fine clicks. Glass is Zeiss quality. 16 power with fine crosshair reticle. Optics are brighter and clearer than any Unertl or Lyman in 20 power.
Note scratches on main tube otherwise no other cosmetic or mechanical issues.

Does George work on scopes any more?

I first saw these at the SHOT Show many years ago next to our booth (Precision Shooting Magazine). He made them up to 36X, iirc and three inch objective lens. They had optional thimbles to go 1/16th".
I really wanted one, but they were a couple grand back in the 1990's.

George Mitchell is no longer with us. He died some years ago. I have two of his scopes. A 2" 20 power and a 2 1/2" 32 power. I would not sell them for the world.
