Experimentation With 6X47 Swiss Match

Any of you chaps from across the big pond started to 'play' with the this rather fine case yet? I'm assuming you've got over the availability issue and look forward to hearing how you get on with load development etc.

So far I've only used Varget for fire-forming my 250,25X47SM) Ackley neck wildcat, and this shows promise. Pressures were too high and too soon when my gunsmith tried Benchmark prior to rifle delivery. Guess all the powders listed for the 6XC will be worth trying and H4350 will be my next experiment. Should fill the case rather nicely!:thumb:

RUAG 6x47 is still not available over here so the 6XC,among pre-formed cases) is still the only game in town. H4350 or RL19 seem to be the powders of choice for these size cases, with most folks favoring the Hodgdon powder.

I have not heard of anyone who has the RUAG brass!
A friend in England sent me one case and I thought the quality was great! But, if RUAG doesn't get off there donkey and establish a distributer here in the USA, there are people working very hard to do just that, namely Mr. Tubb and his 6XC brass, almost the same!
If Mr. Tubb can get the quality to an awesome standard/quality maybe he can start exporting to the Swedes, food for thought, but very possible, sort of up to Mr. Tubb at this point.
