Executive order will bypass Congress!

One thing to keep in mind is that Executive Orders are a fairly thin reed. They won't stand if not grounded in law. However, it does point out the danger of allowing any law to pass Congress that gives the President/BATFE one nanometer of wiggle room.

Would car dealers be required to check for a potential customer's alcohol consumption history? Maybe have to consult with the AA to see if the customer has a record, or with law enforcement for previous DUI or DWI? And if that were he case, would individuals have to carry out a similar background check on potential customers who want to buy the individual's car or truck?

Wouldn't a car dealer or a private party share the blame for their car-buying customer having killed someone while drunk driving the car they just purchased?

Just wondering . . .

The buyers insurance company performs that task:oops:

Thinkin’ folk should have to apply for and then, pending a background check, be granted the Federal Government’s permission before using stuff like Face Book, and also endure the same, but of course separately, process before being allowed access to stuff like You Tube. You know, what with all them sheet heads and sheet head wannabe folk so close to being swayed over to ISIS that all it takes to get ‘em to join up is watching/listening to like Trump sayin’ he thinks we should stop allowing folk in, folk that flat out refuse to assimilate, until certain folk in our Government can get their collective heads pulled out their own arsses …

Yeahhhh! Like having a background check and ID before one votes! Just saying.

Been downhill since 1920, once women got to vote, "emotion" based votes are what get the wrong people erected. Women make up 51% of the electorate vs. 39% men vs. 10% others. Of the 39% men 30% of those are liberals who also do everything based on emotion. We are so screwed.

Here is one place where I agree with the State of New York (unlike the Safe Act, which contrary to some's believes I AM AGAINST), at least for the county that I live in and I think the balance of the state. I have a voters registration card that I carry and is signed. I had to have 6 points of ID to get it, and at least one document had to prove citizen ship and one residence. If I go to my regular polling place, they look me up and I have to sign above my prior year, which goes back to my original first time voting there and they review the signatures. If they think that the signatures do not match, I have to provide my votes registration card (which I carry) and my proof ID. If I go to a different polling place then my registered polling place, I have to prove my registration card and ID proving citizenship.

If you don't like things the way they are, stop whining and flapping your lips, get off your butt and do something about it:mad:

Before I get crucified for this, I TOTALLY agree that the type of Executive Orders are important to judge leaders. Some get more press than others, but it is interesting to look at the Presidential Executive Order Count as of 12/10/15 going back against other Presidents.

I am hopeful as a Conservative, that we will run an electable presidential candidate (for once in a long time), and that he or she will get elected and reverse what ever deviate executive orders that this administration has put though including a push to repel the Birth Right portion of the Amendments to the Constitution.

Repealing the 19th amendment would pretty much solve all the problems in one fell swoop.
It's quite obvious, you are an Adolf Hitler admirer! Perhaps you would be happier living in one of the middle eastern countries where women have no rights!
