Excuses for buying another firearm

Guess I’m the outlier here. A few years ago it occurred to me that there were many guns (that I really like) in my collection that hadn’t seen daylight in a couple decades. Since then I’ve decided to start actually USING what I own instead of making a bigger pile. Been having more fun now.
You’re not really . I’ve been heading towards the same thinking. I went thru a buying spree over the past few years. Now, I have less time for shooting and guns I haven’t fired even once. I’ll steal my wife’s phrase: “I’m shopping in my closet.”
There is one gun I’d still like to own, tho. A Mauser Luger. I missed one on the sale board here, over the summer. It still urks me!

Wife knows my Base Pay goes to the household budget
Overtime $$ is MINE!
OK, I do give her an Amazon Gift Card couple times a year when I've gone on a buy binge

Looking through thr cupboard, I found 2 sets of dies....can't remember buying them. Shouldn't be wasted.

With age going up along with aches and pain I find the usage of 97% of my safes contents going down, so I may start to get rid of most of mine, that way my wife won't have the hassle of trying to dispose of them. Here in Ct. she will have a problem the way the laws are, or I will need to put them all in a trust. I need to sort through 2 safes to see what goes and what stays.
