exact dies

I want the 2 stages. I like the set of 5 bushings that I can spec and 1/2 thou steps. Then when people say "Looks like a solution looking for a problem." then I must try it!
Machining finish looks  quality...when I saw a sample. They(Jco) say they are working on an ogive bullets seater, and are busy testing it now.
What kind of press do you have to use the die in? The die is 1"-14

Edit: 21st Century makes that type of bullet seater.

Aren't most presses 1-1/4" without the bushing?
A few are, and they are 1-1/4"-12. The Exact sizing die is 1"-14

With the Exact die, each additional cartridge means you shell-out another $500.00 for each one:eek:

My dies have threads, my presses have threads; threads make adjustments possible. When sizing a case for length from the shoulder to the case head I have 28 options from -10" shorter than a minimum length/full length sized case to .018" longer than a minimum length/full length sized case.

$500.00 is a lot of money and a high price for not knowing and or understand how to reload.

Bullet ogive seater: I use a seating die, I use a transfer when moving the dimensions of the chamber to the die, the transfer is reusable; that prevents me from starting over everyday. Some reloaders use dummy cartridges, I don't.

And with that said, the late John Adams and Stu Harvey also used transfers when moving dimensions. Both gentlemen were highly regarded and respected.

Some know and some not, some understand and some not.... some like to learn and some not, some say they know it all and some not, some have the $500 and some not.

Evidently, you haven't been on earth long enough, or haven't been paying attention to the wealthy. Go to Warner Tool Company, and look at the sizing die description. Does Exact offer that type of information? WTC is first and foremost, a tool and die company. However, Alan and Dan are highly regarded precision rifle-smiths, along with providing an unequaled sizing die, seating dies, and lathe turned bullets. If you have a chance to do so, visit their shop. Check out Alan Warners background. If you know nothing about him, you'll be pleasantly surprised;) BTW: look at the sights produced by WTC:cool: In other words, Alan and Dan Warner are very experienced jewels.

And deserves it!
Another inexperienced newbie. Old ways work just as well as modern ways. You spend less time and work more efficiently employing the most modern way, and also spend more money for the equipment to do so. When do you find time to hunt/shoot when spending so much time playing with the latest and greatest simply because someone offers yet another money making product? We live in a real world. Get real!
