What is a Sierra 111 gr "BK"?

Are you referring to the proposed bullet Tubb is to release?

I am cautiously optimistic about the 111's. The 117's I had were somewhat problematic, and frankly I think 117 gr is just too big for a 6mm bore size. A couple boxes of the 117's had pretty crooked plastic tips, then when I shot some of them long range, a few of them never made it to the target - I stopped using them and returned all my unopened boxes.

I think 115 gr 6mm projectiles are about right on the edge of what is workable in a 6mm so a 111 gr projectile may be good from the perspective there is a little "margin for error" built in there.

Sounds to me like somebody`s come up with a good long range varmint bullet!!! Has there been any reports on expansion on those 111bk`s yet? Looks very intesting. One could only hope theyde make a 7mm 175bk or 308 210bk too. hint, hint, hint. Any word on when these 111bt`s hit the market?
