Well, the 4 DOF and targets read true.Read the wind not the spin! Spin drift is HIGHLY overrated............
EJ
Yeah buddy! The embedded data is what I didn't take into account when my spotter called no wind. I would hold center mass, well that .4-.5 Mil of spin drift was still needed at a mile. There is always something to learn in this game!
I always dial constants and hold variables. If you dont do that, your spin and coriolos are embedded in your wind hold. If the wind goes slack or changes direction on you, you will get all whacked out.
I feel better now! LolYeah, the wind is the supreme teacher. You can get good at it if you practice hard, but it can never be mastered.
I never thought I’d like mil till I tried it and my brain clicked with it. Now that’s all I have in my scopes. My MOA reticles feel like I am shooting for the zip code instead of the address.
This looks like Illinois plus the Casey store in the background is a give away. I got family in Springfield.View attachment 1323714

Oh man, it can be a boiling nightmare. Nothing past 15X will cut through it. I gotta hit that strip at the right time of day.Looks like a nice setup, and a sweet group!
How is the mirage laying in that grass? Around my place, you couldnt see the target through it most of the time. My favorite place is on the side of a mountain in the Navada desert. No mirage and some real strong and switchy winds. Makes for a fun (or sometimes frustrating) day....
