English Walnut!

I am doing a report for botany on English walnut and have seen many amazing links on this site pertaining to this but cant seem to find them. If anybody has anything I would appreciate it. Will take down post Thursday and depending on the grade I get on it will post the report for those interested on here. If I get a bad grade I will just revise and post anyways for your research needs.

Just google Juglans Regia. Or call one of the west coast wood sellers and ask them if you can pick thier brain for a bit.

Mike,

I'd like to know if you knew the Latin name before looking it up on Google yourself...

Good on you if you did. ;)

Cheers!

Minesweeper3433, Not trying to be the man with the answers. Here is a quick rundown on "english walnut"! It has an interesting history and is not native to England at all!!! Check out this link. Greg

PS. I prefer Black Walnut ;D!

Thanks I should be able to find what I am looking for off of that wiki link. Also If you all have pics of it in different stages of finish that would be cool. Like I have a pic of the tree and finished stock that is out of this world but what the raw wood looks like maybe before drying and after the wax protection is removed?

I have used Roger Vardy for years for excellent English walnut. He is in Australia.
