End of year time to check Personal gun carry permit's

No. Seems to me like post #’s 4 & 8 contradict each other.
5 years and the other no permit Utah
Put on your “lawyer hat” for a minute. I’m in Texas, so the same applies to me. A permit is not “required” for concealed carry but you can still go thru the process to get one. The reason to do that is for travel outside of my home state. My permit is recognized in Delaware, where I spend the summer months. Because I’m a Texan, I can’t even buy a long gun in Communist Delaware, let alone a pistol. I buy my guns in Texas now. My permit allows me to exercise my Constitutional Rights in Delaware.

Thanks, now I understand. I’ll blame my confusion on New York State and the City of New York. To get a cc in the 5 counties of NYC is nearly impossible. Once I moved out of the city I had to get a cc permit in the county I moved to and surrender the NYC permit. Now have a legal permit in all of the state except the 5 counties that comprise NYC.
The system worked fairly well as long as you didn’t live in NYC. The sheriff in the remaining 57 counties issued the permits. Since it was working well the state stepped in and now though the sheriff issues the permits the State police have the records and you have to renew with them.
It causes my lawyers hat to revolve!
Even though the area I live is very rural the politics would have me move in a heartbeat if I could. I’ve heard New Jersey is the worst regarding any type of firearm.

Yup! Jersey is worse than Delaware. If you’re caught with a hollow point bullet IN YOUR POCKET, IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR OR ANYWHERE IN YOUR POSSESSION, you’ll be charged with a crime. Delaware isn’t far behind and they’re trying to catch up. He/she Sarah McBride is leading the charge with the help of Chris Coons and other Democrat politicians.
That is just one of the reasons I moved to Texas.IMG_1964.png

Just cleaning out my wallet and looked at my carry permit for my state. Sure enough it creeped up on me and only had a short time to go went down and the gal said good thing you didn't let this run out. If you did you would be required to start all over again with all the paper work . Glad I looked into it as I was cleaning out my wallet. Members might want to look at their also and save yourself a lot of headaches if they let it run out! Also check your smoke detectors by the end f the year. Merry Christmas t ne and all.
Thanks for the reminder!— as a resident of IN i have a lifetime permit. i dont think they are available anymore here. We have constitutional carry also but a person needs a permit to reciprocate with other states that reciprocate- not all states.
MerryXmas toeverybody
