Emergency Remington 700 trigger pins

Im sure I may get flamed for this but I found out the hard way that the small bits that come with a dremel tool set the shafts of those bits are almost prefect diameter for trigger pins....cut them down and POW....trigger pins POW POW up late on night shift sleep depravation coming on

Kind of like emergency decapping pins. I forget what size broken drill bit lived in my die for months after I found a Berdan bastard on Thursday night before a match on Saturday.

I watched this thread with interest knowing that i would need to make trigger pins because i was building a 700 from a new receiver and an old bolt bushed by GreTan. and a bunch of parts i have accumulated over the years. Now the 64-thousand-dollar question. I am building a stainless rifle and decided I wanted stainless trigger pins, so last time I was getting wire or my MIG welder I got several .125 TIG rods that were stainless. How long is a trigger pin? Does anyone happen to have an original that would measure it and post the length??? Thanks Mark
