Elk River MN F-Class Match - 7/26-27/14

Nodak7mm

Team Lefse
July 26-27, 2014: Elk River Sportsman's Club will host the Midwestern F-Class Championship Match. While not an NRA approved match, this match has great prizes, trophies bigger than NASCAR, and high payback.

Bump for a group of great folks.. Wish I was going..

Should have been there Sauna King then you would have result's! P.S. thanks once again for the rifle!

Without a doubt, the most fun I've ever had at a competition.

Rick and the Big Hig kept things light...and running like a well oiled machine.

Pat and Scott, congrats. You guys just keep on hammerin...

thank's al. thank's to rick and all who helped run the match. it was good to see all the high scores on a windy sunday. scully.

Scully, did you win the whole thing? Congrats if so! Can't say I'm surprised, though - you are shooting as well as anyone in the country this season.

Hopefully someone wrote up a match report for us all to enjoy...

yeah, I ended up winning the open trophy. scott brabec won the f-tr trophy. to be honest, I never looked at the final standings. maybe we can get rick to write up a quick report.

This is at least something. Took a pic of the raw FTR scores (sorry about missing the open, but I was shooting FTR).

The quality of the shooting/shooters in two very different conditions (hot, heavy mirage and light but tricky winds on Sat, and stiffer winds that swirled on Sun) really blew me away. I believe that the top Open shooter dropped a ridiculously low 6 points out of 1600 (believe that's you, rwcathunter). Congrats. Scott dropped 32 points with his 223. Also crazy good shooting. Maybe someday....

I was on the same target as rwcathunter and at one point I could cover 4 shot's in a row with a dime when I was pulling for him! Don't have a clue how to keep up with that! Great shooting Scully was easy to pull target's like that!

Great shooting Pat and Scott!
The state championship is going to be a tough match in a couple weeks!
