Elk River Sportsman's Club June 25 & 26 Midrange/F-class Match

Hey Shooters,
I came up with another fun event at the Elk River Sportsman's Club in Elk River, MN. This 2 day match will consist of a fun 2-person (80 shot per person/160 shot per team) team match on Saturday, June 25th. Teams will be classified by the highest classified shooter on the team with seperate classes for Match, Service, F-Open and F-TR. Cash prizes and bragging rights will be available.

On Sunday, June 26th, will be a NRA Approved MRP/F-class individual match with 80 shots for record. Only Sunday's match is approved by the NRA. Saturday is meant to be a fun learning experience. Shoot Saturday, Sunday or both. Space is limited to the first 80 shooters.

It would be fun, but, you scheduled the same weekend of match 3,4,5,& 6 Of the Harris IBS 1000 yard matches...25 miles away!!

God it must be nice to live within 50- 100 miles of a bunch of ranges. I drive 400+ miles 1 way to shoot.....Kinda sucks!!

Summers are short up here as you all know. That said, weekend fill up fast and there always seems to be a conflict somewhere. For those that may have to travel a fair distance, ERSC has camping available, with water and power hookups for RV's, and plenty of space for tenters. The gals at the American Legion treat us like kings when we are done shooting by serving ice cold beer and pizzas with an endless supply of popcorn.

A week away and the weather forecast for the match looks great. There should be many shooters, but we are not at capacity yet. Hope to see you there.
