Electronic Powder Measurers: Lyman vs. All Others?

That's a wrong assumption, doing a tray of 50 cases, the CM will most likely use all of it's + - .1gr.
Milo- I guess you know better as to my machine and those of others at my range. Same answer (unless you are referring to a throw that is within the -.1 grain margin of error stated by RCBS).

I'm just going off my fx 120i scale checking charges, opened my eyes to CM usage. More than once a charge came off CM weighing a full .1gr under.

So how many kernels is that?
I guess that would depend on kernel size, I was just stating a fact the a CM can and will underthrow a charge.
The CM a very viable tool, but I'm sure there is more than me who questioned a 1500 gr scale, resolution would have to be better with a 500gr unit.

Not that i was questioning.. but as you well know.. some want to make a big deal out of a 0.1, but it is a trivial point..not advocating that your one of them, you just happen to be there at the moment! ;)

I guess the degree of load development would play here, some shoot very charge specific loads, so + - .1gr, could be a big deal.

It's a well known fact that the unit can throw - .1gr, and + .1gr, so in a tray of 50 cases, you can have .2gr accuracy.
