Electronic level for F class

Does anyone know if these would be legal for f class?

Why? Because they keep your gun level? Because they offer and unfair advantage to those other competitors with $10,000 rigs, that can't seem to afford one? They must somehow think they magically guide the bullet to the target. What could possibly be the reason for not allowing the use of one of these levels?

edit:
back in the early 70s in Competitive Archery....they had a hard time moving from Recurves to Compounds.
Some people just don't want to move on with the rest of the world. Rather stay living under a rock.

Seems to me they'd be better suited to PRS type shooting where you're constantly changing positions. In F class, you're using a bipod or rest and once you level the gun prior to shooting, you're oretty much good to go for the match.
I have been shooting in my club matches for two seasons now with an Atlas bipod that cants and I believe this level could be a simple solution to help me stay level. I understand there are rules and I respect them. I guess its all part of the challenge and fun

I also couldnt agree more to your point as well. The number of people shooting in my club matches is very much on the decline. No younger people getting involved at all. High prices to pay for competitive gear on top of inflated component prices (when you can find them) are a big factor I bet. I seen that particular level on a prs guys rifle at the club a while back and thought it might help me turn some 9s into xs but I guess not

Considering the level in question isn't that old. They had to of incorporated the rule in the last several years.
What could possibly be their line of thinking....when 200 bucks is a drop in the bucket in this sport?

Because of the obvious unfair advantage any shooter would gain from an electronic level, while shooting a 22 pound rifle sitting in a mechanical front rest and a heavy rear bag. The NRA strikes again!
I was thinking the same thing....at least give me the option. Do I give up my $1800 Seb or my $250 level? LOL

So, I just did a quick search...not thorough. On the IBS and NBRSA rules. I dont see anything mentioned there based on my quick search.

A simple bubble level in various forms can be had for as little $25-30. These inexpensive bubble levels can work VERY well to keep the rifle level if set up properly, and the cost is not so expensive as to be prohibitive to large numbers of shooters. I cannot envision how the expensive electronic level shown above would work any better for the intended purpose of keeping the rifle level, even though I admit it would look a lot cooler. The product description implies it is easier to see, and therefore "faster" to use. In any event, the ruling against electronic levels seems a bit capricious to me, but it is what it is.

Here's a "just maybe" answer to the question . Supposed they "allowed" the Electronic level . Exactly how many minutes does anyone think it would be , before someone would be filing a protest that "THEY" couldn't have their Lab on the line , because So & So is using a E-Level ? The rule says NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ! Why is that so difficult to understand ? Eliminates the debate .

I seem to remember some people wanting to stretch the rules on front "Base Boards" for TR , too . And I heard some say , "But it's always been legal at our home club , so why isn't it legal for the Nationals" ? The answer was simple . READ THE RULE !

tts amazing that this sport has continued to develop and refine. I understand rules are put in place to be enforced, Actually they specifically went after electronic levels....it wasnt worded quite as you state.
