Educate me on rear bags please

Thanks for the replies.

Pretty sure the bipod in the pic is the one I have. Here is a better pic.

Atlas BT10-LW17 bipod

The stock has a 1/2" wide, flat bottom, rounded sides.

What sort of a rear bag would be optimum for this shape stock?

It looks like you plugged the gap tooth stock. Some of those stocks have a part that will allow you to plug the gap and run a normal bag. So any bag with ears will work but a bag with ears separated by the width of the stock base will work best.

That said, you still have a problem. That kind of bipod will not allow the rifle to track in recoil. Research SEB Bigfoot and F Class bipod to see what would be the most accurate. Realistically that stock and bipod is meant for something like PRS and it would work for that.

Thank you @ronsatspokane. Very helpful. I can see how the Bigfoot would work well.

I Googled F Class bipods. I see what you mean.

What is a "gap toothed stock"? Googled returned some interesting images but nothing related to a stock. :)

Gap thoothed is what I jokingly call them That big gap starting at the grip and going toward the butt of the rifle is, from what I understand, supposed to be used as a hood on pack to prevent recoil or something. Bad desigh in my opinion and it prevents using a conventional bag rider.

I always thought it was meant to keep the pistol type grip from something like an A2 stock from hitting your squeeze bag hand during recoil.
