Mikel Shilen called earlier and told me that Ed had passed away. No services at his request. Ed is one of the true Icons of the sport!
Keep his Son and Daughter in your prayers.

Pioneer is the word that comes to mind. Thousands of shooters have benefited from his work. RIP

This is truly sad news. We are diminished to lose this Hall of Fame shooter and Hall of Fame man. He was respected by almost every one and we will miss him greatly. James Mock

Heard about Jim Clark this morning and now Ed. So sorry to be losing such talented individuals. Prayers to both the families.

So sad to see another Great Icon leave the bench.

I also got an email earlier today saying that Jim Clark Jr has also passed on.

Condolences to both families. Both were incredible shooters and creators of some very fine hole punching instruments.

Ed will not be forgotten as he was a great barrel maker. I sure he was involved in so much I couldn't print it out. My condolences to the family.
