E.P.S. bullets

Any folks shooting or have shot the EPS 106 gr 6mm bullet? I ordered a few but, I don't seem to hear anything about them.

Well, I was going to shoot some today but, my plans got derailed. I too measured some of the ones I got and after 15 bullets I stopped. Waste of time. As "jqhoghunter" states...Noooo sorting.

I have been shooting the EPS 106 6mm bullets since they became available. I have had success from 100 yds to 1000 yds with them. I have shot about 8000 of them. I no longer sort and weigh. They are spot on....every bullet. I routinely shoot in the .1's and low 2's at 100 yds with them. I have often commented,"Shoots like my PPC"s. I almost hate to tell how much I lilke them, I don't want my competition to go to them! LOL.

I got a box from a friend to try a few months back. I typically shoot the 105 Berger hunting vld. I did a side by side measurment comparison and the eps is so consistent bullet to bullet I wouldn't waste my time in sorting for weight, bearing surface or ogive. They're on the money. Just for s&g I loaded them with the exact same charge as the 105 Berger and boy did they shoot.

I then decided to shoot some coyotes with them. I can tell you that are a great paper bullet, but they did not open up very well on fur. They penciled right through.

Excellent bullet though, worth the money.

I measured my first 500 and that was a waste of time. They all measured the same in every dimension I am able to measure (pressure ring, bearing surface, BTO) with the exception of bullet OAL. That was fixed by trimming and tipping. Drew

I sent an email to Jamie asking the same question, This is what Jamie sent to me a few days ago for the 6MM's.

I had them tested unpointed years ago at .569 @3000 fps so if you are shooting them slower it will be closer to. 550
