DPMS LR 243 rebarrel?

I got what I think was a good deal on an LR 243 last Saturday, Just under $850 out the door. I've worked up a good load with Hornady 87 VMAX but in the near future, I'd like to switch to a faster twist barrel. Maybe even chamber in 6XC or 6MM Creedmoor. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to who to have make the barrel? I'm hoping to get GA Precision to do it but have not heard back from the email I sent. Maybe I should call them. Anyways, I'm open to suggestions.

Scott Medesha makes a good product. Just google his name. I has an AR10 done by him and it was a great shooter and exactly what I wanted.

in 2010 I had McGowan make me a 6xc spacegun weight barrel for my DPMS LR 2nd group out of the barrel was 10 shots between the
centerX and the X ring line I call that a good shooting barrel.

Shilen makes AR barrels & they are a well known name in bolt gun barrels.

Rainer has some 6.5 Creedmoor barrels made from Shilen blanks. I may try one of those as well.

GA Precision quoted $755 for a barrel only, headspaced to my bolt!

you could sell your barrel for 250-300 offset the cost.....check in with apacheguns....apachearms????something likethat he has some hard to beat deals man but again your barrelwould sell for something or just sell the upper take a small loss and start over
