Douglas vs Wilson

Bbl selection is often associated with a herd mentality. All the current makers of bbls produce quality beyond what most are capable of extracting. If a Tony Boyer won a match with a factory bbl n had a turd tied to the muzzle, next match the line would be full of factory bbl with turds installed.
I have never had a bad custom bbl from any maker, Douglas, Hart, Shilen, Bartline, Lila, Wilson, Krieger, Obermeyer, Schnieder, well u get the picture.

I totally agree with the herd mentality but I have had 3 barrels from top makers that were bad. 2 we're out of spec and one split on the inside. All 3 companies took care of it with new barrels but I was still out many hundreds of dollars. Just saying!
