I am sure that they have found someone capable of running the shop.Just curious if they found a decent replacement for Stan.
I got my first douglas barrel this June. Absolutely lovely work. 30-06 sporter build on a tikka. I sent in my 270 tikka action and they did the chambering and install. 0 .4 moa is the best I have done with it so far, and I strongly believe it is my shooting that is holding the barrel back from doing better.Anyone bought a new one from them recently? Just wondering if the quality is the same as it use to be.
I should also mention that they were able to remove the factory barrel (and return it to me) without using a relief cut. Which is no small feat. I was expecting a relief cut and was very happy to see it comeback without one.I got my first douglas barrel this June. Absolutely lovely work. 30-06 sporter build on a tikka. It also was super fast. Like 3 weeks or less if I remember?
