Double Lug M14 Practice

Giving serious consideration to using the M14 for the upcoming XTC season. Got some practice in yesterday Sitting Rapid Practice

Very cool.
The only thing to improve on that right is to get a nice wood stock

I know that's McMillian fiberglass stock - but M1A's should just have wood.

I pulled out my NM M1A to give it a look and wipe down last weekend. It is a joy to shoot and seeing your practice made me want to start back up.
Maybe my shooting coat still fits.....

For 200 yds. give a light load of 125 gr. Speer TNTs a try. Soft recoil helps in sitting rapids.

I got my first 16 points towards Distinguished with my M1A. I took it out to play last year in a long time. Scoped it, new Bradley leather cheek rest, pic rail for a bipod...... Still shoots pretty well! BTW, I do believe I have the last M1A accurized by Charlie Milazzo.
