I have an American Standard in my house and I’m really pleased with it. It’s been installed almost 7 years and neither of the two service issues were ever questioned on the warranty and didn’t cost me a dime.
I got the Mrs. a shower remodel. $12,995.
My wife's ..... I asked her what I was getting for Valentine's Day, she laughed and said what's that?
She then said....you haven't done Valentine's Day in years, then I laughed. 46 years of marriage. I found out a long time ago she appreciates a little extra something once in a while out of the blue then on 1 day a year that is man made. Like Jerry Clower said, Momma doesn't want nobody messing with what she's got.

I have two carriers. One upstairs unit and one for the main floor. The upstairs unit is great. Not a problem since 2020 installation.the downstairs constantly leaks out. I'm starting to think it's the installer and not necessarily the unit brand. Goodman had a great name around here. Was $300 my last refrigerant refill. Had the compressor go bad on the main floor unit as well. While it was under warranty the labor was still 600.

I hope you're refund wasn't too big.
I mean that in the sense that any income tax refund is a non - nterest bearing 12 month long loan to the government.
I said to my wife the other night.... We could fix all of the fiscal problems and welfare programs and govt spending problems - and unite all taxpayers in the country - by getting rid of federal income tax withholding and making everybody write checks for quarterly estimated tax payments.
