I can't drive it around the block, but we'll be warm in the house.

I got smart this year. I took my lovely bride to the flower shop and had her pick out the arrangements she wanted, and plenty of chocolates...
And dinner tomorrow night at the Texas Roadhouse.

Sad thing about small towns in rural America now is most of the flower shops are gone along with many other things.

Taxsylvania? Where are you at? 14k sounds high for Pa. I used to do residential work and now do commercial/industrial. Did you get a second opinion?

Yeah, Altoona.
Looking at 2 stage, 90% efficient.
Plus ductwork.
We had 9 supply runs and only 3 returns. 6" round.
So needless to say we didn't have half of the air to the furnace that we needed.

And I had 2 other companies come in to give me an estimate today. Should have the proposals tomorrow.

Got the chocolate covered strawberries on order and will pick up a dozen roses. She’ll be happy.

Well, the other 2 estimates came in today.

One company underbid the other 2 by $3,000.
80,000 BTU, 2 stage American Standard with ductwork and 10 years parts and labor for $11,399.

Guess who we are going with.

American standard is the same as Trane. I always liked Trane when I did residential. Parts are expensive though. Sounds like a good for parts and labor for 10 years.
