DON'T FALL FOR THE TRAP

More on the ATF Brace BS. My gunsmith and I realized this a week ago. Now its in video/print what ever you want to call it. Someone has verified it with the ATF.

We need to get out heads out of the sand!!!! These people are out to kill all of our freedoms for a fanatical one world order. I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist but look what we have going on here, right if front of us. If you paid any attention to the World Economic meeting they just had where they (world leaders) called us "right wing extremist"(RWE)! This is how we WILL deal with RWE!!! This is no joke! They, (one world order people) are out to exterminate us, the American Conservative. The plan to deal with the conservative was outlined and our retarded government is following that plan to the tee.

Believe what you want but we need to pull our heads out of the sand before its too late, if its not to late already!! From what I see here there are plenty who STILL have their heads in the sand.

GOA consistently exaggerates as much as possible to get people fired up.
I support their agenda but still get sick of being bullshitted.

Registering may be a bad idea.
But:
When you submit your app the clock does not start running.
The 88 days starts when they start your BI.
They don't start it until they expect to finish it in a lot less than 88 days.
The same rule has been in for years for the existing process and seldom happens.
Your approval could take 3 years but 10 days of the 88 day clock.

The idea that you agree you're a criminal by participating in a government run 'amnesty' plan is not totally baseless but is highly dubious. Government tyrants seldom punish people FOR doing what they're told. To arrest everybody that files they'd literally need trains and camps.

I'm not saying register but these ideas are made up by people who really don't want you to.

Without a clear external enemy, they want to make us the new enemy. The ruling structure needs society’s attention directed at an enemy to justify its existence. Societal aggression “needs” to be directed at something.

As some of you have alluded to the crux of the problem, “they” want attention drawn away from THEM and what they do. They are corrupt. They line their pockets with our tax dollars and kickbacks from special interests. It’s a shell game at the highest level.

So, I have a question. I don't own any ARs with pistol braces. I do have a couple of SBRs that I built a few years back.
I also have a few regular ARs.

I wonder if I could just submit paperwork on all of those ARs to get them SBR'ed for $0? Even if they did pull the crap in the linked video in the OP, they wouldn't have anything on me as I wouldn't be in possession of an "illegal" SBR. But I could get all my lowers SBRed so I could get a few more pistol uppers and have the option to run all my ARs in any config I wanted.

A guy I work with has a pistol brace AR and he told me that you have to show proof it was purchased before 01-13-2023. I'm guessing they will want proof that it was a pistol brace AR before that date, without proof you will probably have to pay the $200. Not sure if that is true or not, but it does seem logical because a lot of people will be trying to get a free tax stamp out of this deal.

A friend of mine told me that our school system in Ky only teaches history from 1960 to present, I haven't chkd into it but sounds bout right, could be wrong though.

How the heck are you supposed to "show proof" If I bought one 6 years ago, I can guarantee that I wouldn't have the receipt. I also don't take pics of my "evil" guns unless I am trying to sell them.

This ruling is a total shit show, I would not send pictures or proof of anything. Anybody that has a pistol brace AR and wants to keep it a SBR should just buy a $200 tax stamp or remove the barrel and put a 16" barrel on. No way would I want to be the first guy that gets denied and the ATF has the proof you have a SBR.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR FINAL RULE 2021-08F

12. CAN I REGISTER MY FIREARM WITH A “STABILIZING BRACE” TO MY TRUST? • Yes, however, the firearm would have needed to be owned by the trust prior to the date the final rule is published in the Federal Register. Evidence that the firearms was in trust should be provided with the registration document.

14. IF MY SBR IS MADE AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THE FINAL RULE, CAN I STILL REGISTER IT AS AN SBR FOR FREE DURING THE TAX FORBEARANCE PERIOD? • No. The registration options available to a possessor of such firearm applies to those possessed on the effective date of the final rule.

17. IS THE “STABILIZING BRACE,” BY ITSELF, AN ITEM THAT REQUIRES REGISTRATION UNDER NFA? • No, a “stabilizing brace” is an accessory and ATF does not regulate accessories. However, a firearm equipped with a “stabilizing brace” may be subject to registration if it is an SBR because it is “designed, redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder,” as described by the amended definition of “rifle” in the Code of Federal Regulations and has a barrel(s) of less than 16 inches or an overall length of less than 26 inches.

22. AFTER THE 120-DAY TAX FORBEARANCE EXPIRES, CAN I CONTINUE TO POSSESS AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM WITH AN ATTACHED “STABILIZING BRACE” THAT IS A SHORT-BARRELED RIFLE (SBR)? 7 • The National Firearms Act requires registration of all SBRs. A person may not possess an unregistered SBR.

25. PRIOR TO AND AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE 120-DAY TAX FORBEARANCE, CAN I CONTINUE TO POSSESS MY SBR EQUIPPED WITH A “STABILIZING BRACE” IF I HAVE TIMELY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION TO REGISTER MY FIREARM? • Yes. Provided you are not otherwise prohibited from possession of a firearm under Federal or State law, you may continue to lawfully possess your SBR while your registration application is pending with ATF. While your application is pending, you should maintain proof of submission as evidence of continued lawful possession.
