Thank you for the message to members.

Site donations and upgrades are more important than ever.

Security duties have increased by an order of magnitude. I am spending over 600 hours a year on security and background checks -- all without direct compensation.

Forum Boss has hit the 70 y/o mark and I need to bring in help -- that will cost a LOT.
We need significantly more support from members to keep things going.

I want to express gratitude to the Gold and Silver members -- this Forum could truly not be maintained without them.

Think I spent a year lurking and learning and taking into consideration why I should become a "paid" member . I realized that this was literally the best forum on the net and became a silver member for a year or two so I could help contribute to support this forum . Later on ; I realized the value of this site , and became a Gold Member to increase my support , and help insure this site wasn't going anywhere .
For all the serious shooters out there who are NOT gold members , and have been here for awhile , It's time to pony up Guys ! It's "OUR" site , and if we don't protect it , it can go away . I've been on other good sites that just shut down for the reasons "The Boss" is talking about !

Yup! I donate to keep this forum alive! Sadly, a LOT of members just suck up all the great info provided and don’t care about the future. The “Boss” is 70 and running this forum is a lot of work. If we don’t offer our support, this site will die.

I have on numerous occasions when selling an item if buyer isn't a contributing member, I'll offer a discount of half the cost of the membership if they join. Helps the site and gives the buyer the option for basically a half price membership based on item savings

Absolutely, in the past I have offered items for free if an interested member would get at least the Silver Level or just simply throw it out there requesting a random member to become a paid supporter. Every bit helps as I'm sure the Boss appreciates it all.

Kinda ironic to read the current thread about the Savage forum shutting down then realizing many of the posters in that thread are not financially contributing members here… here’s to hoping that they have learned and soon change their ways…
