Dogs who do amazing things

My wife had a siezure and stopped breathing with no pulse, our pitbull imediatly jumped on her chest and was trying to save her, it was all i could do to get him off of her. Shes ok after 15 mins of cpr, but long story short pitbulls can be amazing dogs!

Here's my buddy . Only time you don't see us together is the visit to the doctor . This thing is extremely intelligent to the point of being scary . He is very obedient loves to retrieve , work and train . He gets worked or trained everyday weather permits . Very high driven and powerful animal .

long story short pitbulls can be amazing dogs!

Pitbulls ARE amazing dogs! Sad to see the how the (ignorant) press wages their propaganda campaign against the bully breeds. A lot of misinformation and outright lies out there resulting in BSL (breed specific legislation) in many states and communities. Not unlike the tactics used by other organizations against gun owners... Off my soapbox now before my blood pressure gets too high.

My blackmouth cur in his retirement years. When he was young he retreated from nothing.

A little humor, when i was a young boy we used to visit my Grandma and Grandpa in northern WI my grandma (Busha in Polish) always bragged she had the smartest dog. They went back and forth trying to prove it, Then one day my grandpa brought out his fishing pole and said where is your smart dog now. My grandma pointed and said, he is down by the barn digging worms.

So I don't know who resurrected this old thread, but it's been kinda fun, as well as kind of sad. My old buddy Gunner, has now been gone for three or four years I think.IMG_1660.JPG

And in the time since, we've come to belong to another wirehair dog named Millie. I had the good sense to not spin my wheels about finding a replacement, and that keeps the grieving time short.

I don't know if I'll have time enough to have another dog on this earth when she's gone, but if not, I'll sure have a time to join all of them when I cross that rainbow bridge.:) jd
