Does Speer actually make bullets?

Speer? I haven’t shot them since I started loading in the early 80’s.
I’ll take the green boxes over them any day of the week, or Berger or Nosler, or Hornady.

Pretty much my experience- and believe me I gave them a fair chance to win me over in various chamberings early on. The exception to the rule is their .30 cal. 125 gr. TNT HP which does rather well in my .30 BR Hunter Class Score gun.

I shot some of the .224” TNTs out of a .222 and they did pretty good accuracy wise and were quite explosive on ground hogs and a few foxes. There are just too many better choices out there. YMMV

here are some in-stock Speer bullets at online retailers (including some @ MidSouth).

I don't see one .243 offering in your list. That's my biggest whine and what I've been looking for for months.

So you blokes went through several shortages caused by Obama and you're still complaining about shortages I just don't get it stock up when you can or just put up with it.
I live in Australia and I learnt way back in 2009 to 2010 you buy a barrel or a new factory gun you buy enough components to shoot that barrel out.

My crystal ball must be broke. I didn't have cases or bullets because I didn't have the rifle until a few months ago. How do you prep for that?

Sounds like we have the same plans. Except I'll be in the swamps.

That's exactly what it looks like is going to happen. And it's an excellent tactic, only problem with it is, it's defensive tactic and not offensive. In a real sense we are retreating into our safe zones. Which is something we must have. But we should not remain there hoping no one bothers us. You can bet our enemies will strike our safe zones eventually. The democrat communist brown shirts will come sooner or later. We need to be both defensive and offensive. Fighting with just foot soldiers never wins a war.

If we are to have a true victory, we MUST become offensive in our actions. There MUST be an offensive strategy that poses a real threat to the head or command structure of the enemy. Strike the head of the snake and the rest will become much easier to defeat. Identifying the true "head(s)" could prove to be difficult but must be done. Once the command structure has been severely damaged or annihilated then the foot soldiers are easily defeated.

I don't know why I'm talking like this. Just venting I guess. It's basic tactical strategy that most understand.

Ahhhh...nothing is going to happen anyway...unfortunately, I'm in a downer day today and don't think anything is going to happen, except the frog in the pot is going to get a little warmer.

Most don't realize the huge numbers involved in our industry. We can't see past the end of our nose.
I'm not sure if they still are giving tours but if you're passing near Sierra or Hornady call ahead and see if you can get a tour. Very enlightening.
