Does Speer actually make bullets?

I keep checking Midsouth, for months, and there is never any inventory in any caliber. Just wondering why. Not knocking them but would like to try some of their inexpensive .243 flat base for plinking on recommendation of a friend.

Are they in business or out of business? I understand shortages but you would think "in stock" would pop up now in then.

Why build up bullet inventory when primers and powder are in short supply? I just got a box of their 30 cal. 150 gr spfn from Powder Valley at a decent price.

Thanks, for that article. Their website doesn't mention their commitment to the French. Business is business, I quess.

I did find a link on Speers website (under News I believe) dated 1/30/23.

I really like Speer bullets for hunting. They have always been accurate and done the job. Haven’t seen any on the shelves around here in a while. This summer I finally got 2 boxes of the CCI Speer shot caplets for 38/357.

I have ordered bullets direct from Speer...free shipping over like $100 if I remember correctly.
Used to even pick up 5000 primers at the plant...but that has been discontinued last I checked.
