Does it matter

I lost track of the amount of firings on my brass. I had them marked with a sharpie but it had been over a year and I couldn't make heads or tails of what I had going on with the brass. So I just annealed it all and sized as usual. My KM arbor press shows the same or very close seating pressure's on the brass so I am thinking it shouldn't matter, am I correct?

FWIW This is my bench rifle 600 IBS

Sounds like you figured it out,but I would fire them at least once in practice to make sure the shoulder fills out etc.

I load 20 at a time and keep a 4" x 5" card with the box, containing info on each load, when annealed and number of loadings to date Pretty simple. .

I always screw this up. My shooting partner is A.D.D. and will grab rounds and mix this and that.... drives me nuts.

I always try to keep brass allocated to an ammo container now. Getting better.

Here's my system, been using for more years than I'd like to disclose :(

Each rifle has it's own group of cases (100 each) divided into 5 - 20 round groups. I mark each group (20 cases each) with a unique marking on the case head to distinguish it from the other groups. e.g. - , +, 0, ^, = then place them in a 20 round MTM cartridge boxes.

I have a label on each cartridge box and each time I reload each box I record the number of times reloaded (i.e. 7, etc.). in pencil then simply erase next time and record the next reload, (i.e. 8).

I do the same for each time I trim.

I always know exactly how many times I've reloaded and trim every indiviual round.

When I tumble to clean, I make sure I have cases with all the same number of reloads and trims for that specific rifle. Since the markings on the case head are removed during tumbling, I remark when I reload so I can distinguish between indiviual groups.

To fill the tumblier, I try to wait until I have 2 to 3 groups with the same reload / trim to clean along with some other calibers.

It works for me. :)
