Does it makes and sense to do?

I have a FFP scope and am wondering if it makes sense to change it to SFP. I don't know what the cost would be or how much effort is involved. Has anyone done this? Is it possible and worth the effort? Of course I will send it in to the manufacturer.

Considering the considerable work involved to change the lens relationships and other modifications as well as purging it again, even if you could find someone who would do the work, I would guess it would be more expensive than to just buy an SFP scope. There are far more SFP scopes out there than FFP so the selection is better and the price ranges are usually less.

Not possible! And just curious...why! Just me...but I have changed all my scopes out to FFP.

Thank you for the replies. I guess I am stuck with it and HAVE to get used to it.

If your going to Compete you'r a lot better off with a SFP in a Sightron 10-50 for example.
Used under 800 on this forum..just what I have done and works for me.

Or trade it for what you really want. Makes little sense to struggle with one you don't want. What is it and what are you wishing for?
I am used to VortexHST and the SWFA both SFP. Just recently purchased a Burris XTRIII not realizing it was a FFP. At lower setting the reticle gets lost. I guess it will take time to get used to. It could also be my eyes.

It's not your eye's. One reason I have no personal use for FFP scopes for what I do.
