Does it make sense to upgrade from GE to HM or NF Comp?

I have Vortex GE on one of my rigs and for no better reason I am contemplating selling it and purchasing another March HM or NF Comp. Does it make sense in your view considering application: F-open.
We are talking 600m/800m/1000m.
I was using March HM during Nationals earlier this year and was beaten by mirage, I assume it would be worse with the GE. So, speaking of next season I did not decide whether giving GE another chance makes sense (nationals take place always in June).

If your only reason is to beat the mirage and you said the March HM didn't do it
then no.
The March HM is suppose to be one of the best scopes in seeing through mirage.
The NF comp. is slightly brighter than the HM and GE
The problem I found with the GE is, after 40x the view starts to get noticeably darker.
You need to look through all 3 hopefully at the same time to choose the right one
for you.
It would be easy if everyone agreed on this, but I'm guessing you'll get different responses.
Everyone see's things differently.

At our 1000 yard range in Mt. World records and agg records are set by guys shooting GE scopes.

I was shooting the GE side by side with the NF comp in match's
from 100 yards out to 1000. I finally got a March 10-60x56 and
dumped the GE with no regrets. And yes, the March can see thru
the soup a bit better. If money is a hang up, get the NF Comp.....
