Well, Hodgdon certify H4895 only, specifically excluding IMR 4895 for such dramatically reduced loads. Just sayin', but there it is.42 gr. of IMR4895 and 44 gr. of IMR4064 with 168 grain bullets for max loads. Starting about 12% less ended up with shoulders set back and primers proud of case head. More so with nickel plated cases than brass ones. Quit the test when 15 percent reduced charges in nickel plated cases' primers were about .010" past case head, brass ones' primers about .006".
Thanks for that clarification.Well, Hodgdon certify H4895 only, specifically excluding IMR 4895 for such dramatically reduced loads.
