Does anyone have a subsonic load, that will work in a AR and be accurate?

I have a friend who has an AR in .223/5.56 Wylde chambering. He has a suppressor on the way. He was wondering what would be a good load, to shoot, quietly, that would function in his AR, and be accurate, MOA is what he was looking for, hopefully out to 300yds. If this is undoable, please let me know. I have been a die hard handloader for 40+ years, and have not found anything on this. I have loaded a lot of subsonic .300BO with great results.

I have no load data but there is commercial so it can be done.https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016549622

One problem will be cycling the action. It will probably be a bolt action. Twist rate will be a problem too such as 22lr fired with a conversation kit.

I don,t think there is such a thing. Kinda like a good cheap paint job. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

these guys sell it, so it should be able to be made

There's data out there for sure... I don't do it because I already own a .22.. As far as accurate , that can only be determined by the rifle and what it likes just like any other reloading... Since alot of the time you're using something like pistol powder , be careful...

Reloaders seem to protect their personal suppressed load data as if it were nuclear secrets. What powder, how much, what weight bullet, for your best load for xxx caliber? How hard is that?

There have been factory loads advertised over the years that claimed to be functional. I don't think any of them really ever worked. They never gained a following or any kind of reputation.

You'd have to have a massively oversized gas port to get this done, and then the gun would be worthless with real ammo.

I would think you would have to have a pistol gas port location and use a heavy bullet to have enough gas to operate the action. Drop at 300yds would be in feet I suspect
