Dodge trucks

A bully with a Ford pick on you some time Butch?

I drive for a living, I shoot for a hobby. No chips anymore, it's all tuners now days.

And mine is bigger than yours ;)

You have to admit, Butch…. the F-650 pick-up was unique.

An old buddy built the International pick up conversions a few years ago. After watching them come together and driving a couple, I lost all interest in that type truck. I know a few folks liked them as they sold quite a few.
How about a Subaru Brat?

The Brat was kinda cool. Ronald Reagan used one on his ranch;)

I have had more Fords than any other vehicle and can honestly say I have never had any issues with them breaking down. 3 F-150's and 1 F-250 were work trucks,
I knew this thread was going to go this way. "MINE IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!" Mechanics know nothing, only the owners! HAHAHA chuckle chuckle, Mine gets 45mpg when I drove it off the cliff with a 40,000lb load, I put a chip in and gained 10mpg and 150HP. I live where the cowboys live and they know their trucks. At the truckstop I saw a bunch of Ferdes and that proves they are best.
You guys better get back to the range and shoot your whatever and leave the trucks alone, but that is another story. Jeez, 8 pages and about 160 post.

Funny thing is, nobody gives a damn about your opinion butch. What you are doing is the exact definition of being a TROLL.

When most folks see a topic they're not interested in or if a topic starts to go a direction they don't like, guess what most folks do? They dont comment in the first place or stop commenting.

Some of us like talking about vehicles just as much as we like talking about guns. Let it be.

Dont listen to Butch. That's a good looking truck right there ;)

Truth is, anyone who doesn't own a black truck wishes they had a black truck. Lol. Some folks just don't want the chore of keeping it clean so they choose a different color. But everyone knows black is the sexiest color on the road ;) They are a lot of work to keep shined up, but it's well worth it in my opinion

I bought a 2001 dodge diesel 2500 two years ago with 300,000... and it ran good until last week when the rocker arm inspection cover sprang a broken gasket, causing a severe oil leak that locked up the engine. We added oil... got it started and drove it the mile back to our driveway, where it now sits with me wondering what to do with it. Most people think I spun bearings because of the noise... and it probably did. I have no idea what it would cost to fix it... don't even want to think about it...Hmmmm..... got any ideas?

Call a wrecker and buy another truck? I have a nice 06' Laramie 5.9 with 187K for sale. Probably on the wrong side of the country...

Hey ledd, If I'm right and I am, I guess I'm a troll. I know that you are nobody and do you think I really care or let your post bother me. No, you are the type guy that I like and have fun with.

I currently use an F-250 V-10 to pull our 9000lb travel trailer to shoots, It typically averages 7.5 mpg which sucks. I am thinking about a new Dodge with either the 5.7 liter or the new 6.4 liter. I am looking for guys that can give me feedback that are using either engine and what kind of mileage your getting while towing! The dealer just told me they avg 18mpg but had no towing mileage estimates! I used to own diesel trucks, but diesel fuel prices are always 70-80 cents more than unleaded reg, plus everything on a diesel is more expensive. Any info will help, so tell me what your using.

I bought a Ram 2500, new, in 2006 with the 5.9 diesel and have not had it in the shop for anything in all these years. Pulls heavy trailer around the Rockies and plains and I get 11-13 pulling. I get over 20 without pulling. These older engines were made very well and have the power to tow whatever. Son has a much newer Ram with the obummer equipment and it is a dog compared to mine. Just had it repainted and don't think I will ever sell my truck.
