Do you like hog hunting?

"Do you like hog hunting??" What ta hell kind of a question is that????!!!! Of course we "like" hog hunting...I woulda said, "no!!! and I don't like Bushmills or Mexican girls either!!!"
That pig never knew what hit him!!!

Bushmills??? Jamison's yes....

Hogs, es, but never had the chance except I once flung an arrow at a domestic hog that had gotten away....missed it by a country mile.

Maybe a little over gunned but they don’t get away. Shot a sow last week, killed her and her off spring that was behind her.

They tear up my back yard at night. If I did not sleep so soundly, even if the motion lights come on, I just cannot get up to "hunt" them.

Actually would try to knock one just hard enough to get back into the adjacent park and stay there. They are so full of bugs, odor and dirt that butchering them is distasteful to me. Used to kill and clean them at a place north of here. It was never a pleasant experience.

That means the answer is "no", unless you can get away with just leaving them for the buzzards like some many do around here.

I love to shoot them. I shot wild pigs every weekend last deer season, they swarmed my feeders every time they went off. This was first one I killed, a 140lb pregnant sow that I played lead tag with at 200yds. She lost. Nailed her right between the black spots on the side of her head. My 25-06 with 115gr ballistic tips makes for good pig medicine.

You Texas hog hunters have it easy. In California we have to chase the mothers up and down all the G_d Da_ned hills to get a shot! We were still limited by shooting hours. Lot's of cardio to say the least but very worth every calorie when it came time for eating!

I've BBQ'ed some of the smaller ones, not that great, your better off getting the meat at H.E.B.,that's a Texas grocery store.A lot of Texas Pig killers here.
