I don't think that any of us as adults need to be "protected" from a bad deal or unreasonable shipping costs, on this forum, on ebay, or anywhere else in this world. Thank you very much, but I'll take care of my own due diligence.

Believe me, if I see your add trying to sell me a Burgness Stratness, I will check prices on the world wide web, and compare shipping costs, and make my decision based upon what I learn. If I find that I can get an ACME Stratness for half the money, it is NOT my job to come on your thread and tell the world about it. jd

This is not the place to discuss the price of tea in China or dump on someone's ad because you think the asking price is too high or there is a better alternate product made/sold/invented by someone else.

If we find people "slamming" other members' ad(s), the person making the improper comment will receive a temporary loss of posting privilege.

If you persist in doing this, despite warnings, you will be banned from the site FOREVER.

Thanks for the “refresher”...I almost fell in to this hole myself. Not because I’m a rude person, but because the vast majority of people on here are great people. Then, when I see someone gouging in the name of “capitalism”, well, it’s very hard to keep my thoughts to myself.
So again, thank you for this!
