Another good shop day. Snow falling, wood stove going and Christmas music playing. Inletted for the trigger, bolt release and safety. Laminated 2 pieces of 3/16 walnut on the fore arm sides and did the routing. That brings the fore arm to a width of 2 1/4. Almost done. Bolt handle cut, final sanding and an oil finish.

excellent work as usual--is that strippling sprayed on or something they do to the wood? i have seen it in person before. i guess this means the garage is ship shape now?Thanks Paul. That's the original Master Sporter stock that started this venture into stockmaking. I couldn't find the bare stock so I figured I'd try to make them. This one is a shot at a exact copy.
