Does anyone list .223 Ackley in their new manuals?

N133 with 40-53g bullets will blow your mind with a thick cup primer-cci BR4-fast and accurate

N135 with a 55g bullet is fast with blistering accuracy

Try Varget and start with mid 223 loads and work up .3 grains at a time. You should find an accuracy node before you are 10% over standard 223. Some of my AI's shoot best with standard loads, I just change powders so I have a full case. The beauty of AI is not just increased powder capacity. Also less trimming and, with break open guns, less push back.

When I started with my .243 AI, a Sierra tech advised me to use a load close to max in their data and work up from it. Send an email to Sierra. They were very helpful.

Benchmark is good. IMR 8208 XBR is great. Hard to beat with 50 to 53 Gr. Bullets...

So far it seems that LT-32 gives very good accuracy at about 25.5 grains with Sierra 55 grain Blitzking, the green tipped bullet. I also like the Lapua brass. It shot better than the LC brass. Now I have to chrono it.

I haven't found any manual that list 223 AI loads. Have you ever heard of Graymist? He developed many loads for the 223 AI (some were listed in the link in post 12). I checked his link and found it broken, but I had printed his load data previously. If you would like .jpg's of his data, PM me.

Ya,have been doing the experimental thing. Load it up to the top and look for pressure signs. I load lighter bullets in mine. Problem is that I have over 1k rounds through my barrel experimenting. It is fun though. Anyone use Reloader 15 in theirs? Right now my favorite powder for accuracy is 748. I can shoot a compressed powder charge with 55 grain bullets. Only other powders that I have not tried are the Ramshot ones.

I use RL-15. 26.2 gr of RL-15 behind a 75 AMAX in .223AI yields me 2950 fps in LC brass using a CCI 400.
