DJ’s Brass

Had some Dasher brass hydroformed last year. The shoulders had small dimples in them. I assumed that was the way they were supposed to be. No problems and they fireformed great. Just got 200 more done and these have zero dimples! Either way was fine with me but these look perfect.

From what I have seen with hydro formed brass, some can get or have small looking dimples or slight creases at times, but usually go away with fireforming once or twice.
Would not worry about it, even if on occasion you even loose a piece of brass.

It actually can occur with forming or reforming brass with dies also on occasion.

DJ would not send them back to you if there was a problem. Tommy Mc

Those small dimples are caused by the fluid he uses in the hydro form process and, as you noted, blow out on the first firing.
I've been using DJ for all my Dasher and BRA brass for almost 10 years and never had any issues.
