The irony is, I think those of us that use the socket and screwgun method and say it works well (I do and it does) secretly wish we had a machine.... ;D

Not here. I'm running out of room to store all the BIG gadgets. I need more that fit in a drawer or shoe box when not in use.
And since I live in a motorhome, space is a REAL problem. So I will keep using my torch & cordless screwdriver with deep well socket.

If I lived in a motorhome I'd have to have one of those covered trailers behind it to use as my "shop". One of those like people haul their Harley's or cars in.

Very nice machine indeed. I think you and Dad have found a nice niche business to get into. Do a little advertising and you'll see. Good luck!

I think I'll let Pops decide on that (and I know he is very strongly leaning toward that) and I'll just keep ut and enjoy my good fortune!

If you all are running out of room,.....Hint,...the local building supply has lots of wood and nails,...expand if you don't have room for something as small as a annealing machine! jhelmuth, your pops did a very nice job, something to be proud of for sure!! My pops is turning 79 this August and if I had to build another building altogether to house something he built me I would, as those pops guy's are pretty special guy's aren't they? anyway enjoy the annealer, thanks for sharing with us all.
Wayne.

I've thought about that. I could haul my Colorado pickup in it, then convert it to a reloading room once I'm parked. Problem is where to park/store it at some of the RV Parks we stay at.
We're currently parked out in the country between a couple mobile homes. Since we plan to sit here for 5 months, I rented a 8x10 storage building for $30 per month and made it my reloading room.

All the best,

any idea on a price? ... even a ballpark figure?

I tried to send an email, but couldn't get thru. I seem to recall that for some reason folks with a comcast.com email account (me, for instance) can't exchange emails with hotmail users. I'm really interested in one of these--any idea of price & delivery? Thanks.

Is it "comcast.com"? Or "comcast.net" Most Comcast customers I send e-mail to use the .net for an address extension? This may be your problem?

Sorry--it's comcast, net. Got careless. FWIW, when I tried to use the link I got a message saying that the operation couldn't be performed because the default mail client is not properly installed, whatever that means. So I tried copying & pasting the address in the "To" block of a regular email, & that didn't work either.

I really am not sure at all as he is currently in North Carolina and he''ll get back home (Westland, Michigan) sometime in the next 3 weeks). Last he and I talked, he was looking to secure some quality gearmotors and variable speed controller ant a reasonable price (and there is no such thing as cheap in that world - my own "search" shows this to be expensive). I don't think he really knows for sure what the final price will be , other than he has told me he doesn't want to make it go beyond $300 per unit (and from my own number that wouldn't leave him much "profit" to cover his time and work - but that is his deal). I do know he is targeting an Augsust 1st delivery for whatever quantity he makes on the first batch (if there is more than that is unknown at this point).

Don't know why you'd have a problem with his email, but maybe the copy is picking up the last period (which was grammatics - not a part of the email).

Its: Delbert dot Helmuth (AT) Hotmail dot com I assume if you type that in he'll get your email....

Thanks for the suggestion--I did it and it worked. I'm not sure why clicking on the link and doing a copy/past on the email address didn't work, but typing it in did. Much obliged. ;)
