disasemly of a rem trigger

would some one know how you get the pins out of a rem 700 trigger housing, not the two that are the hangers but the actual ones that hold the housing together. they seem to be peened over on one side and I was wondering if you have to grind them off and if so what to use to replace them. I would like to polish the inner parts of the trigger and put it back together. I have a couple of triggers that have issues that need to be fixed and it would require taking them apart! Thank You for any help you can give me Ron

As you've witnessed the side plates are riveted together.
Leave the side plates & end blocks intact/assembled.

Disassemble to removing the trigger shoe pivot pin & clean/hone/reassemble/adjust/seal to your hearts content.

Other issues can be addressed to the firing pin.

Some Friendly Advice from an Old Guy

There's not much to "polish" once you get the trigger assembly apart; except perhaps the sear - which can be touched up by simply removing the rear retainer pin and (being careful not to lose the spring) pivot it upward.
Please be careful. A lot of the Remington trigger issues have been due to untrained hands "polishing" the mechanism and those issues have cost more lives and fueled more criticism of the shooting sports than perhaps any other in recent years. :'(
In your place, if I didn't like the Remington trigger, I'd simply replace it with a Timney or other good quality product.
