Mauser trigger disassembly question

New voere imperial model 2165. Cosmoline or something, really grimey. Wanting to disassemble and clean. It has safety level on right side of trigger assembly. Has a pin with half inch disk holding lever to trigger housing, the ? On opposite side the pivot pin protrudes .there is a small disk, a washer l guess and it appears the end of the pin that goes through the trigger housing is peened like a rivet . Is this correct? The only picture I could find of this particular trigger is on a Santa Barbara mauser. Thank you for any information about this.

Give a pic of yours, Mauser has one pin that goes through a boss that protrudes from the bottom of the receiver, Most non Military triggers for Mauser's have a tension screw at the front of the trigger that will bottom out against the bottom of the receiver to force the trigger to hold itself tight up against the bottom of rec.

Your rifle is a Mauser 98 Variant.

Is this the trigger it has? Look at the front bottom of trigger to see if there is a set screw that you can loosen. This trigger looks like it is possibly a Kepplinger single set trigger.

Never got the safety off but got it cleaned up in a gasoline bath.

If it is like the other Santa Barbara triggers I've worked on, I have not been able to remove that part of the safety.
It is riveted together.
A bath in an ultrasonic cleaner did a good enough job of cleaning, compressed air finished the job.

It is none of those triggers. I decided it was a 2165 from pictures on the net. The picture on the voere site you gave me is not like my rifle. I think it is a Santa Barbara mauser built in Spain and sold by voere.

Just be careful with it, they have a weak point in the housing where it can crack in half. Other than that, they can tune up into a pretty decent trigger.

That is a Parker Hale Trigger, Which could also be Santa Barbara Spain.

Yes Parker-Hale's were built on Santa Barbara actions, as far as I am aware.
There are loads of them up here in Canada.

The ones that are stamped "Spain" But have a "Z" prefix on the serial number I believe were made at Zastava in Serbia/Yugoslavia imported on the sly and then stamped Spain.
