im currently using the hornady digital calipers. im curious is it worth it to upgrade to a higher end set or are these fine. and if so what set do you recommend? thanks in advance

Counterfeit Mitutoyo Calipers
Purchased Mitutoyo on Amazon and found the set is fake. I called Mitutoyo helped verify and they said they can't stop it... some of the Mitutoyo sold on Amazon are real... anyway these fakes look good but are NOT real. Be careful.

I have a 12 inch set in the shop. They're pretty nice.
I have them at work and at home.
There’s some YT videos with examples but I’d just buy from a decent source like MSC.
I don't pay for Prime, and I have been able to return everything. Am I missing something?

I think that says more about who you have outsourced that work to.
That said, calipers are not a super accurate tool. Sorry. Get a calibrated steel block of a couple sizes. Much cheaper than high end calipers.
