After a full year and more of scarce components, our FPR match director has altered the format slightly. It has been very noticeable in the lack of shooters. Where we used to shoot 10-12 stages at 10 rounds each, now our next meet has 6 stages. Also, we have the capability at our club to shoot to 1400 yards, it has been trimmed back to average 600-800yds and long distance will be around 1000yd.
What this means is that now I can shoot .223 and be competitive. It will require more wind doping and really tight powder charge for low ES\SD - but I can actually load SRP ammo right now.
Has anyone else changed format or have considered format changes until there are some changes in the supply situation?
