Die Modification to neck down 223 to 20

I found I had a delux 3 die set from Redding in 204 Ruger. I tried to size a piece of 223 brass down to see if it would work in the NS die only to find it only sized a good 1/3 to maybe 1/2 the neck. I got my Starrett calipers and measured the length of the die and decided to put it in the South Bend and cut it back .100" I used the neck die out of the 3 die set, cut it .100" and now have a doozy of a die. Made me stop and think how easy the Practical would be, but am pressing on for the 20/223AI.

No, I didn`t have but 1 20 cal die set in the house and made the best of what I had on hand.
