Did I get the wrong reamer?

How are you determining your reamers are not within your specifications. Are you casting your chamber.

If you read all the replies you will see that his bullet seated to touch lands is way shorter than the rest of us with the freebore that he is supposed to have.

Eric, I did read all of the reply's and understand that his freebore is not what he presumed. I should of been a little more specific with my question. I had two reamers ground to my specifications and found that the overall case length on one is .020 longer and the other .012 longer than the reamer print. I used a Sinclair chamber gauge with a modified case to get these measurements. So that just got me to thinking how accurate all of the other dimensions are and what was the best way to check them.

I guess the best way to check them would be with an optical comparator. As far as his reamer goes, it appears he does indeed have too short a freebore compared to what he specified and to what is written on his reamer.

As far as the reamer you mention, sounds like they were not what you ordered.
