Detachable magazine? ?

Ok. Just looked them up. Ambi button. I like the lever for the style stocks I make. I might think about altering the design for the button, tho.

Probably not applicable to the OP's current situation, but for a budget build not wanting inlet, I've found the ATI polymer bottom metal and mags to drop in nicely and function well.

I have a few and they are easier to load than the Wyatt. I will say that the AICS type is likely unbeatable with everything considered.

I've found them to be reliable. I don't compete in PRS matches or under stressful situations.

Hunting, shooting in general they are just fine.

Ok, I usually shoot long range for fun and to learn, every once and while I shoot a fun match so it might be good for me.

Several major names use the polymer parts in thier production guns. Tikka and Savage, off the top of my head. I replace it with metal parts when I can, but a few of my Tikkas will keep the plastic and stay original. The polymers can be quite resilient.

I have installed several different brands. Without a doubt the Stiller Precision is the easiest to install. It fits the BDL foot print with almost no modifications. The magwell itself has a lip around it to cover any flaws in your fitting job.

Oh, I forgot. Magpul is making less expensive AI clone polymer mags. I think they are half the price of the real deal.

Just fitted a PT&G on a SA Manners. Took some opening up but very good product. I have accurate mags for it. They fit up to 2.960 cartridges. I'd recommend PT&G for bottom metal. The PT&G M5 is what I have. Didn't care for the PT&G Stealth bottom metal. Wanted a flush fit bottom. Hope that helps.

My Accurate mags fit max coal of 2.860"... not 2.960"

MDT aics mags fit 2.800"
aics 308 P-mags fit 2.860", but don't fit in my MDT HS3 chassis. They fit all other aics bottom metals and feed super smooth.

Great replys guys, but is there a bottom metal out there that just screws in a factory inlet that works with Ai style mags??

Keep in mind I need the extra space for the longer oal on my bullets

I just looked at the one stiller sells, think I just answered my own question lol
