Detachable box magazine

new tactical build will require a detachable Box magazine. Stock is Mac A5, Rem long action. in 30/06 chamber configuration .seems H.S.is the only available option.( not acceptable)
I'm thinking some of you may have modified the Badger 300 mag system, how did it work out? Is there a better choice. JIM

Surgeon rifles offers long action bottom metal. Lets you use AICS magazines. I think CDI precision may also have long action bottom metal that uses AICS mags, though they are not listed on the website.

i have a seekeins going into a 6 x 47 L shortly. Pretty stout, Looks to be a good quality unit just like his rings.
