6.5 x 47 Lapua detachable mag systems

I am planning to build a long range tactical rifle in 6.5 x 47 Lapua using a blueprinted REM 700 short action and an H-S Precision adjustable tactical stock.

I want to use a detachable box magazine setup for quick reloads.

Badger Ordnance makes a box mag bottom metal set that is designed for .308 that uses Accuracy International magazines but the guys at Badger Ordnance can't give any assurance as to feeding/cycling reliability on this system for the 6.5 x 47 Lapua cartridge.

Do any of you have any experience with this DM system using this cartridge in a REM 700 platform or are there any other options you are aware of?

Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

I've been using the badger/AICS setup for over a year and have not had a single misfeed in over 1K rounds.

BTW: you must use the pillars that badger sends with the bottom metal to get the spacing right or you may have issues.
